Aguglia, una costruzione dei primi anni del 1900, è situata a 640 metri di altitudine, all’interno di una tenuta di 17 ettari, a 7 chilometri da Palazzolo Acreide ed a 20 chilometri da Noto. A mezz’ora d’auto le spiagge ed a 40 minuti Vendicari, Fontane Bianche ed il porticciolo di Ognina. A 20 km la riserva di Cavagrande ed a mezz’ora d’auto Siracusa, Ragusa Ibla, Modica e Pantalica.

Il clima: secco ed in estate, al tramonto, sempre fresco (non c’è necessità di aria condizionata nelle camere). L’eccellente servizio: il nostro staff è sempre attento a soddisfare le personali richieste di ogni ospite. Le 8 camere esclusive: tutte non fumatori, con ingresso indipendente dall’esterno, pavimento in cotto siciliano, tetto in legno, arredo personalizzato proveniente dalle collezioni famigliari della proprietà e con ampi spazi esterni arredati.

Aguglia is 640 metres above sea level, in the middle of a 42-acre farm, full of nut, cherry and olive trees, 7 kilometres away from Palazzolo Acreide and 20 kilometres from Noto. The country house is half an hour’s drive to the beaches and 20 kilometres away from Cavagrande Nature Reserve and half an hour’s drive to Syracuse, Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Pantalica Nature Reserve.

THE FEATURES AND QUALITY OF OUR COUNTRY HOUSE
The mild climate: dry and in the summer, at sunset, always cool (air conditioning not needed in the rooms). The excellent service: our staff is very attentive to satisfy the personal requirements of every guest. The 8 non-smoking exclusive rooms where great care is given to details. Each room has a separate entrance, patio and is tastefully decorated with the owners’ personal antiques including furniture, terracotta pottery and tools. The floors are made of Sicilian terracotta tiles and the roofs are framed with traditional wooden beams. The patios are fully furnished so that guests may relax outside in privacy.
